LeaseCorp Aviation adding third general aviation hangar

Wichita-based LeaseCorp Aviation is adding a third general aviation hangar at Wichita Eisenhower National Airport.

President Ray Koenig said Tuesday that the 21,000-square-foot hangar at 6565 W. Pueblo Court should be completed sometime in April.

The new hangar will include five offices, a conference room and a lobby. It will be capable of housing large business jets such as Gulfstreams, Koenig said.

“We’ve also got a spot for a fourth hangar, so we’ve got some development room to grow,” he said.

Koenig said the company’s two other hangars at Eisenhower are full and LeaseCorp has a waiting list of customers needing a structure to house their turboprops and business jets.

“We really think the aviation business is picking up here a bit,” he said.
