Bob Stangarone, who many remember from his days as head of communications at Cessna Aircraft, will have a new venture beginning next year.
Stangarone, who joined Embraer in Fort Lauderdale, Fla., three years ago as vice president of corporate communications for North America, is forming a consultancy group, Stangarone & Associates.
It will begin business Jan. 5.
Stangarone will serve as managing director for the firm and has assembled a group of industry professionals to serve as associates.
Wichita connections include former Cessna CEO Jack Pelton, one of 13 subject matter experts, and Lindon Bontz, president of Visual Media Group, one of seven regional associates.
Together, the group will provide communications and marketing services and consult on business operations for aviation, aerospace, defense and air travel sectors.
“Having these industry leaders and professionals under one roof provides significant expertise and experience and can be a great asset to companies and organizations that want to outsource any aspect of their business,” Stangarone said in an e-mail.
