Need to get away from Wichita? These 6 round-trip flights will cost you less than $200
We’re almost to the third month of the year, and with spring break season approaching, you may be itching to book your next flight out of Wichita.
With rental cars, hotel and Airbnb stays, food and more, vacations are pricey, and booking a flight adds to the cost.
Wichita Dwight D. Eisenhower National Airport offers 16 nonstop flights, including seasonal flights to Destin, St. Petersburg and Orlando, Florida.
Using Google Flights, we rounded up some tickets you can book for less than $200 — as long as you’re flexible with where you’re going and when. Here’s what to know as you plan your spring vacation.
Where can I fly to from Wichita, KS for less than $200 this spring?
If you’ve been craving the Arizona sun, you can book a nonstop flight to Phoenix for $106 Thursday, April 23 to Thursday, April 30 on Allegiant Air.
American Airlines also offers a trip to Phoenix for less than $200. You can book a $189 trip Saturday, March 28 through Saturday, April 4.
For $135, you can fly to sunny Orlando Monday, March 30 through Monday, April 6 with Allegiant.
Meanwhile, $123 gets you nonstop flights from Wichita to Las Vegas Sunday, May 3 through Sunday, May 10 on Allegiant. According to Google flights, the next cheapest round trip flight to Las Vegas in that same time frame is $337 with Southwest Airlines.
American Airlines offers a round trip to Seattle for $167 Thursday, April 23 to Wednesday, April 29. The next cheapest flight is also American, at $206 round trip.
Finally, in the sub-$200 range, you can fly to Denver Thursday, April 9 to Wednesday, April 15 for $192 with Southwest.
Tips for traveling out of Wichita’s airport
Here are some tips for flying out of Wichita’s Eisenhower Airport:

- Arrive at the airport with plenty of time for security.
- Practice patience in case weather isn’t as expected.
- Give flight information to family members before leaving.
You can check to see if your flight is on time or delayed on the airport’s arrivals and departures page.
Travelers must also have a REAL ID, or acceptable identification. REAL IDs can be distinguished from a typical driver’s license by a star in the top right corner.
If you don’t have a REAL ID, travelers now have the option to instead pay a $45 fee for a 10-day ConfirmID pass.
