Apex Engineering celebrates safety milestone
Apex Engineering employees are celebrating 3 million work hours without a lost-time accident.
Company officials said the last time a work-related accident or incident resulted in lost time at the business was back in 2006.
State and city officials attended the milestone celebration on Friday at the company.
Apex Engineering, located at 1804 W. Second, performs fabricated machining, process and assembly work.
Customers include Cessna Aircraft, Gulstream, HondaJet, Lockheed Martin, Spirit AeroSystems and Boeing.
Apex employs about 200.
