Watch Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner’s near-vertical takeoff (VIDEOS)

The Internet was abuzz this morning with new footage of the Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner defying gravity in ways infrequently seen among planes its size.

Perhaps it was the swanky, thumping beats in the video of the near-vertical takeoff that caused all the buzz, because footage of its vertical capabilities has been available for awhile now:

Boeing, which reportedly has more than 500 orders of the new plane, is saying that we can expect to see some even more exciting maneuvers next week at the Paris Air Show.
