Frontier builds on Airbus narrow-body jet order
Airbus said Tuesday that Frontier Airlines has ordered 12 more single-aisle aircraft, bringing its order backlog with Airbus to 101 commercial jetliners.
Denver-based Frontier’s newest firm order is for two A321s and 10 A320s. Parts for the A320 wings are manufactured by Spirit AeroSystems.
Frontier’s newest order has a value of $1.19 billion at list prices.
The carrier’s fleet of aircraft currently comprises 34 A319s and 21 A320s.
