Rain delays plan to taxi Beechcraft Bonanza across Webb Road

Avionics manufacturer and repair shop Mid-Continent Instruments had plans to taxi its company-owned Beechcraft Bonanza from Jabara Airport to its facility at 9400 E. 34th North about 8:30 a.m. Friday.

But the event was delayed by rain. As of Friday morning, no new time had been set.

Mid-Continent officials said they want the company’s employees to see first-hand where their work ends up – on the instrument panel of an airplane.

Officials said that when the moves do take place, they expect it to take about seven minutes, each way.
