Allegiant to resume non-stop Los Angeles service June 3
Low-fare carrier Allegiant will resume its non-stop service from Wichita to Los Angeles on June 3.
The Las Vegas-based carrier will offer two flights a week, with a 9:22 p.m. Central departure from Wichita Dwight D. Eisenhower National Airport on Wednesdays and Saturdays. According to the company’s website, the flights arrive at Los Angeles International Airport at 10:23 p.m. Pacific.
Flights to from Los Angeles to Wichita depart at 3:51 p.m. Pacific and arrive at 8:44 p.m. Central.
A spokesman for the carrier said in an e-mail to The Eagle that the Wichita-Los Angeles seasonal service will be offered through Aug. 15.
Fares from Wichita to Los Angeles vary between $69 and $174, according to Allegiant’s website. Fares from Los Angeles to Wichita vary between $78 and $140.
The Allegiant spokesman said in the e-mail that the average one-way fare last year was $91.30.
