Representatives of the Greater Wichita Partnership, Kansas Department of Commerce and eight companies will attend next week’s Paris Air Show.

The companies making up the delegation include seven from Wichita — Computer Training Systems, Cox Machine, Etezazi Industries, Harlow Aerostructures, HM Dunn, Metal Finishing Co. and Phast Parts — and Mid-State Aerospace of Overland Park.

“We must … proactively promote our region at global events like the Paris Air Show and leverage our position in the aviation industry over the last century, and into the future,” Jeff Fluhr, president of the Greater Wichita Partnership, said in a news release on Friday.

The air show, the world’s largest, runs Monday through next weekend.

Also attending the show are representatives of Bombardier, Textron Aviation and Spirit AeroSystems.
