Mesa Air places firm order for seven Bombardier regional jets
The parent of Wichita’s Learjet said Thursday that it has taken a firm order from Mesa Air Group for seven CRJ900 NextGen regional jets.
The deal is valued at $326 million U.S. at list prices, Canada-based Bombardier said in a news release.
Phoenix-based Mesa owns Mesa Airlines, which in Wichita operates as a regional carrier for American Airlines.
Bombardier said Mesa is one of the largest operators of CRJ900s, with 57 of the aircraft in a 79-seat configuration in its fleet.
