Air Safety Institute to present weather seminar

A safety seminar for area pilots called “Real World Weather” will be held Sept. 8 at Yingling Aviation in Wichita.

The free seminar is sponsored by the Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association’s Air Safety Institute.

It will focus on how to get more complete weather information and make better, informed decisions as a result.

It will present weather resources and when to use them, situations that tempt smart pilots to make dumb decisions, weather-related accidents and the factors that led to them, and other information.

The seminar will be held from 7 to 9 p.m. at Yingling at 2010 Airport Road.

Registration is not necessary.
