Philippines Airlines finalizes Bombardier turboprop order
Philippine Airlines has finalized a Q400 turboprop airliner order with Bombardier that’s value could reach $401 million.
Bombardier said Thursday the flag carrier of the Philippines has signed a firm purchase agreement for five of the two-class, 86-seat aircraft with options for seven more.
The value of the deal is $165 million for the firm order, but would climb to $401 million at list prices if the airline exercises its options.
The five aircraft will be delivered throughout next year, the parent company of Wichita’s Learjet, said in a news release.
