Cessna Aircraft Co. on Monday announced its Top Hawk university partners for 2017.

The Top Hawk program supports universities with aviation programs and includes a one-year use of a new, custom-branded Cessna Skyhawk 172 single, piston-engine airplane for flight training, recruiting and promotion. Top students from each program also are offered summer internships at Cessna’s parent company, Textron Aviation.

The five universities are: Eastern Kentucky University, the Ohio State University, Auburn University, Southern Illinois University Carbondale and Louisiana Tech University.

Garmin and Bose also are sponsors of next year’s Top Hawk.
