K-State Polytechnic adds 4 Beechcraft Bonanza planes
Kansas State University’s Polytechnic Campus reported Thursday that it has received the last of four Beechcraft Bonanza G36 single piston-engine airplanes from Textron Aviation.
The Bonanzas will be used by the campus’ aviation program and increases its all Textron Aviation-fleet to 34 airplanes.
“We are proud to add the Bonanza G36 to our fleet family because its state-of-the-art technology and amenities are exactly what students will experience professionally, preparing them for a successful transition from college to career,” said Verna Fitzsimmons, dean and CEO of Kansas State Polytechnic, in a news release.
The Wichita-built Bonanzas will be used primarily at the Salina-based aviation program for commercial and certified flight instructor ratings.
