German company acquires second Wichita-built Sovereign jet

A German company has added to its all-Cessna Citation fleet with the acquisition of a second Sovereign midsize business jet, Textron Aviation said.

Hahn Air will add the Sovereign to its fleet that comprises two CJ4s and a Sovereign.

The pre-owned Sovereign is receiving avionics, interior upgrades and new paint at Textron Aviation’s Wichita Service Center at Wichita Eisenhower National Airport, and will be delivered to Hahn Air in June.

Hahn Air uses its Citations for domestic and international scheduled and charter flights.

Textron Aviation announced the acquisition this week at the European Business Aviation Convention and Exhibition in Geneva, Switzerland, which ends Thursday.
