Bombardier’s first C Series jetliner to enter service in mid-July
Swiss International Air Lines, the launch customer for Bombardier’s C Series jetliner, will take delivery of its first CS100, the airline said on Thursday
It also has set the airplane’s first revenue flight for July 15, for a trip from its Zurich, Switzerland based to Paris.
The airline also augmented its CS100 announcement on Twitter.

Thursday’s announcement was the first confirmation of a specific delivery date of the airplane by either Swiss or Bombardier, the Canadian parent of Learjet in Wichita.
The CS100 and CS300 have undergone and are undergoing pre- and post-certification flight testing at the Bombardier Flight Test Center in Wichita, adjacent to its Learjet plant on the west side of Wichita Eisenhower National Airport.
