Turkish flight school takes delivery of Cessna Skyhawks

Textron Aviation’s Cessna Aircraft Co. said Wednesday it has delivered five Cessna Skyhawk 172 piston-engine aircraft to an upstart flight school based in Turkey.

Segmen Flight Academy was established last year and maintains its own own airfield for flight training.

Cessna did not disclose the value of the order. It said the Skyhawk order was completed with the assistance of its authorized sales representative in Turkey, EMAIR Aviation Inc.

Cessna manufactures the Skyhawk at its plant in Independence.
