Dale Earnhardt Jr.’s JR Motorsports has entered into a partnership with Textron Aviation in which the famed NASCAR driver will travel in a Cessna Citation business jet and the Wichita planemaker will have its Cessna and Beechcraft logos prominently displayed on one of the team’s cars.

Terms of the partnership were not disclosed.

“Cessna Citation business jets are designed for speed and efficiency, two trademarks valued by Dale Earnhardt Jr. and his team at JR Motorsports,” Textron Aviation president and CEO Scott Ernest said in a news release Friday from the racing team. “We’re looking forward to the relationship with JRM that will demonstrate those qualities as Dale travels in the Citation this season to races and events across the country.”

JR Motorsports said its No. 88 Chevrolet Camaro will feature Cessna and Beechcraft. The car will be driven in six races this year — at Michigan International Speedway, Iowa Speedway, Richmond International Raceway, Dover International Speedway, Phoenix International Raceway, and Kentucky Speedway — by team drivers Alex Bowman and Cole Custer.

Earnhardt Jr. will also be driving the No. 88 car at two NASCAR events this year in which the Cessna and Beechcraft logos will be in located in different and smaller positions on the car.
