Textron Aviation said Tuesday it has set up a dedicated call center in Wichita for Beechcraft, Citation and Hawker customers needing emergency maintenance on their airplanes.
The 1Call aircraft support team was established to provide expedited assistance in AOG, or aircraft on ground, situations, the company said.
“Customers calling this dedicated line will be able to receive prioritized technical support, order expedited parts, have alternative lift quickly dispatched, or even schedule a mobile service unit,” Brad Thress, Textron Aviation senior vice president of customer service, said in a news release.
The team is housed in the company’s Wichita Service Center, a spokeswoman said.
The spokeswoman didn’t have an exact count of how many employees the team comprises.
The service is available to Beechcraft, Citation and Hawker U.S. and international customers by calling 316-517-2090, the company said.
