The Society of Professional Engineering Employees in Aerospace is looking to relocate its offices from Parklane Plaza in southeast Wichita.

The union’s January newsletter says “the SPEEA Executive Board is moving forward with plans to purchase property and a building to provide offices and meeting space for Midwest members.”

The union, which represents engineers and technical and professional workers at Spirit AeroSystems, says in the newsletter that locations for new offices have been under review for a year.

It doesn’t identify specific locations, but says “the prospects for a new office are looking very good.”
