Textron Aviation adds CJ3 to European mobile service team
Textron Aviation said it’s added a Cessna Citation CJ3 business jet to its mobile service fleet in Europe.
The CJ3 will be based at the company’s service center in Dusseldorf, Germany, and can deliver technicians and parts to most European customers within two hours.
It is Textron Aviation’s first dedicated support aircraft in Europe, officials said.
The company said it also increased parts inventory for all Textron Aviation aircraft models at its Dusseldorf distribution center.
The CJ3 is part of the company’s mobile service support in North America and Europe, which comprises a fleet of 60 service trucks and three aircraft — two CJ3s and a Citation Sovereign — that transport aircraft technicians, equipment and parts to the customer to fix their Beechcraft or Cessna airplane.
Mobile service support is available seven days a week, including most holidays, the company said.
