FlightSafety announces new Citation Latitude simulators
FlightSafety International said Wednesday that training is scheduled to begin next week on its new Cessna Citation Latitude Level D simulator.
The simulator will be located at its Cessna Pilot Learning Center in Wichita.
New York-based FlightSafety also plans to build another Latitude simulator that will be placed at its learning center in Columbus, Ohio, next year.
The announcement of the new simulators follows the Federal Aviation Administration awarding Textron Aviation type certification for the Latitude in early June, which allowed deliveries of the $16.3 million jet to begin starting in the current financial quarter.
