The Kansas Aviation Museum will host its annual fundraiser in its own building for the first time in several years.
The fundraiser, LollAIRpalooza: A Silver Soiree, will be held from 6:30 to 11 p.m. Saturday at the museum, 3350 George Washington Blvd.
The event will include live music, a silent auction and dinner catered by Larkspur.
Daniel Bateman, the museum’s executive director, said it is the first time in several years the fundraiser will be held at the KAM building, the former Wichita Municipal Airport.
That’s due in large part to the completion of a $1.3 million renovation project that created handicapped-compliant restrooms, added heating and air conditioning to more public spaces and an elevator.
This year also marks the museum’s 25th anniversary.
Tickets are $125 per person. Call 316-683-9242 to purchase tickets.
