Embraer sees quarterly uptick in light jet deliveries

Cessna’s Brazilian business jet competitor saw an increase in its light jet deliveries in the second quarter of 2015.

Embraer said in a news release Wednesday that it delivered 26 light jets in the three-month period ended June 30, up from 22 light jets in the same period last year.

Embraer’s light jets, which compete against some of Textron Aviation Cessna’s Citation jets, include the Phenom 100 and 300.

Embraer said deliveries of its large-cabin, long range jets were flat, at seven aircraft, in the second quarters of 2014 and 2015.
