Airbus said Tuesday an order for 100 A320 family jets by Avianca airlines represents the largest single order in Latin America’s aviation history.

Airbus said the purchase agreement includes A319neo, A320neo and A321neo aircraft, which have list prices of between $97.5 million and $124.4 million.

“This historic order allows us to solidify our passenger experience strategy in local markets on a broader scale,” Fabio Villegas Ramirez, Avianca CEO, said in an Airbus news release.

In Wichita, Airbus Americas Engineering works on the design and analysis of aircraft primary structure of all major Airbus jets, and Spirit AeroSystems manufactures parts of the A320’s wings.
