Lynn Nichols and his company, Yingling Aviation, have been named recipients of the Wichita Aero Club Trophy.
The announcement was made Wednesday by Wichita Aero Club president Dave Franson at the National Business Aviation Association Convention in Las Vegas.
The nomination says Yingling, a fixed-base operation at Wichita Eisenhower National Airport, provides “exceptional services, exemplary business practices, job-generating initiatives and creative alternatives that advance both the industry and the community.”
It also credits Nichols, the owner and chief executive of Yingling, for achieving “notable success during a difficult business cycle for general and business aviation.”
