FlightSafety has promoted a pilot and 25-year veteran of the company to lead its simulation and training center at Textron Aviation’s east campus.

Brian Moore has assumed the role as manager of FlightSafety’s East Wichita Learning Center, 9271 E. Central.

He replaces Debbie Jones, who retired after 26 years with the company.

Moore has more than 3,000 hours of flying experience and holds Airline Transport Pilot, Certified Flight Instructor and Multi Engine Instructor ratings. He also holds associate, bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Embry Riddle University.

He joined FlightSafety in 1990 as an instructor for Beechcraft Bonanza, Baron and Premier aircraft.

Moore was most recently assistant manager of FlightSafety’s Wichita Cessna Learning Center.

The East Wichita Learning Center comprises simulators and training devices for Textron Aviation Cessna and Beechcraft aircraft, including Beechjet, Hawker and Premier business jets, Cessna Citation business jets, Cessna Caravan and King Air turboprops, and Baron and Bonanza piston-engine airplanes.
