SpiceJet tacks on 100 airplanes to its Boeing 737 Max order
Boeing said Friday Indian carrier SpiceJet has added 100 new 737 Max 8 airplanes to its current Max order.
The new order, which was booked at the end of 2016, brings SpiceJet’s total airplane commitment to 205 Maxes, Boeing said.
SpiceJet is an all-Boeing jet operator had has 32 Boeing 737 Next Generation airplanes in its fleet.
Seventy percent of the 737 is manufactured by Spirit AeroSystems in Wichita.
