Skyward Credit Union President and CEO Larry Damm will retire at the end of September, according to a news release.

Damm – who was in the position for 18 years – will be replaced by Kevin Wilmoth, currently the senior vice president and chief operating officer for the credit union.

“I am proud to have served those in the general aviation community with the great products and services of Skyward Credit Union,” Damm said in the release. “I will be leaving the credit union in good hands with Kevin and his staff. He has earned the confidence of our Board and members.”

A former member of the Kansas Credit Union Association board, Damm currently serves on the state’s Credit Union Council, the release said. Wilmoth has served in various positions in lending and operations over his 19-year career with the credit union.

Skyward Credit Union – formerly Cessna Employees Credit Union – is located in Wichita and has about $270 million in assets, the release said. The credit union serves current and former employees of Textron Aviation (Beechcraft and Cessna Aircraft Co.) and members of their families.
