Straub International to close Marion dealership

Straub International said it will close its agriculture equipment dealership in Marion, according to a news release Tuesday.

“Unfortunately, we had to make this decision to increase efficiency in our other locations,” CEO Larry Straub said in the news release. “The Marion store is surrounded by three other Straub locations that will begin to serve our Marion customers.”

The company will still have locations in Hutchinson, Salina, Wichita, Pratt and Great Bend. Straub sells both new and used ag equipment.

Straub said that many Marion employees will have the option to transfer to another location, or will receive assistance if they decide to leave the company.
