Grand opening
Great Beginnings Boutique, 226 S. Main in El Dorado, will host a grand opening at 10 a.m. on Saturday. The boutique is an upscale resale store offering gently used women’s clothes, shoes and accessories. Revenue from the store supports the Pregnancy and Family Support Center in El Dorado. The new store also accepts donations of gently used women’s clothing, shoes and accessories. The store’s hours are 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Wednesday through Saturday. The phone number is 316-435-5155.

The State Farm Safety Assist program has added vehicles on the Kansas Turnpike Authority’s Topeka-to-Kansas City and Wichita-to-Oklahoma corridors.
The Dane G. Hansen Foundation awarded Rooks County Healthcare Foundation a $500,000 grant for construction of a rehabilitation facility at Rooks County Health Center in Plainville in northeast Kansas.
