Rent in Wichita among lowest in nation

Wichita rents are among the very lowest in the nation for large cities, according to internet rent tracking company Zumper.

Wichita rents in the survey averaged $480 for a one bedroom and $610 for a two bedroom unit, which put the city 99th lowest out of 100 largest markets.

That compares favorably to San Francisco, the country’s most expensive market, at $3,510 for a one bedroom and $4,770 for a two bedroom.
