A mentalist and a publisher make presentations at 1 Million Cups
A mentalist and the founder of a small publishing company in Wichita made presentations at Wednesday’s 1 Million Cups ICT event.
1 Million Cups ICT is a weekly gathering designed to aid entrepreneurs by making contacts in the community and gaining awareness. It meets from 9 to 10 a.m. on Wednesdays. Next week’s event will be at Wichita State University’s Old Town offices, 238 N. Mead.
Curtis the Mentalist
Co-founder: Curtis Waltermire
Pitch: Waltermire has developed a mentalist show he calls the Mastermind Show that he is trying to perform in area hotels. He claims no special magical abilities but has a show of mind-reading, thought control and blindfolded stunts.
Status: He has already developed the show and is seeking a regular venue in an area hotel.

Tule Fog Press
Founder: Lyndon Perry
Pitch: Perry will edit, proofread and format books for local authors in exchange for a portion of the sales proceeds. He will also give advice on how to market the book.
Status: Perry has written several books and has helped several other authors publish.
