Textron Aviation has renewed its sponsorship for the Experimental Aircraft Association’s Gathering of Eagles fundraiser, which supports the organization’s youth aviation education programs, including EAA Young Eagles and Air Academy.

McGavock Nissan donated $2,000 to Honor Flight of Kansas.

Wichita Federal Credit Union awarded a total of $8,000 in scholarships to eight local students.

Ronald McDonald House Charities Wichita has awarded grants totaling $32,000 to eight nonprofit organizations in the state, including seven in Sedgwick County: Child Start, Children First CEO Kansas, Episcopal Social Services, Flint Hills Therapeutic Riding Center, GraceMed Health Clinic, Kansas Children’s Service League and Rainbows United.

Recognized

Kansas Surgery and Recovery Center and Kansas Medical Center are among 16 hospitals in the country to receive a quality score of 800 for knee replacement surgery from MPRICA Health.

Tulsa-based Central Security Group, which has operations in Wichita, was ranked No. 9 in SDM magazine’s Top 100 security companies in the U.S.

The Wiley Plaza restoration project in Hutchinson received honorable mention at the 22nd Annual Charles L. Edson Tax Credit Excellence Awards held June 7 in Washington, D.C.
