WIBA, Workforce Alliance to host Wichita job fair Wednesday
The Wichita Independent Business Association and the Workforce Alliance of South Central Kansas will host a job fair Wednesday, according to a news release.
Open to the public, the job fair will take place from 1 to 5 p.m. at the Workforce Alliance Center, 2021 N. Amidon, suite 1100. More than 20 employers are scheduled to participate, according to the release, including Spirit AeroSystems, the city’s largest employer.
The only stipulation for employers is that jobs can’t be fully commission-based, the release said. The event is part of a contract the association has with the city of Wichita.
Another job fair put on by the two parties will take place Oct. 19 at the same location. For a full employer list, interested individuals are asked to visit http://tinyurl.com/jskzj9z.
