Wichita-based Legend Senior Living has opened the Highlands, a neighborhood of 18 private apartments within the assisted-living community in Legend’s Rivendell campus in Oklahoma City.

New name

Quality Solutions, a Colwich-based provider of facilities maintenance and construction services, has changed its name to QSI Facilities and launched a new website, qsifacilities.com.

New business

Burnell’s Fine Jewelry and Design, 550 N. Rock Road, has added Shinola watches to its inventory. The Detroit-made watches with imported parts from Switzerland retail for between $475 and $1,125.

Recognized

Moosul Publishing LLC of Wichita has received a second international award for “Taekwon-Do: Origins of the Art: Bok Man Kim’s Historic Photospective.” Moosul designed, edited and published the book. The book was named a finalist in the International Book Awards. It also was recently named a finalist in the Bookvana International Book Awards. In March, the book was selected as a winner in the Beverly Hills International Book Awards. The book also was chosen as a finalist in the USA Best Book Awards in November.

Grasshopper Co., which manufactures zero-turn mowers in Moundridge, has earned the 2016 Dealer’s Choice Award for Outdoor Power Equipment from the Equipment Dealers Association. It’s the second consecutive year Grasshopper has won the award.

Charity

Westar Energy made a $10,000 grant to Via Christi Health for its regional burn center.

International Dairy Queen Inc. made a $170,000 donation to Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals at Via Christi Health.
