Friends University to bring female MBA organization chapter to Wichita
Friends University will launch a Wichita chapter of the National Association of Women MBAs.
According to a news release, the university will officially start the new chapter for the women-in-business networking and career-enhancement organization later this month.
“This is a great opportunity for our professional and global M.B.A. (master of business administration) female students to network and participate in leadership development,” said Michelle Case, an assistant professor and M.B.A. program director at the school. Case will sponsor the new chapter, the release said.
The non-profit organization was founded in 1978 at the University of Pennsylvania. The chapter will be a first for private universities in Kansas, the release said.
