A panel of local marketing and advertising executives will talk about Super Bowl commercials during a Feb. 5 luncheon sponsored by the Wichita American Marketing Association.

Super Bowl ads are always eagerly anticipated and then widely critiqued by a wide section of TV viewers, as well as the advertising industry. The commercials being prepared for Sunday’s game are no exception.

This year, you can hear local opinions about the ads from the panel, which will include: Todd Ramsey, owner of Apples & Arrows; Heath Balderston, owner of Intake Studios, and Marc Zwygart, digital marketing expert with Copp Media. The panel will be moderated by Sheree Nikkel Gerig, a principal at the marketing agency Howerton & White.

The luncheon will be at the National Center for Aviation Training, 4004 N. Webb and is open to the public.

The event is from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Admission is $15 for Wichita AMA members and $25 for nonmembers. The cost includes lunch. To register, go to www.wichitaama.org
