O’Reilly Auto Parts has opened a new store at 6505 E. 37th St. North, Suite 700. The store will host a grand opening June 15-28 including a customer appreciation day on June 25, when store officials will present a $200 check to the Kansas Food Bank. The store is open from 7:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. Monday through Saturday, and from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Sunday. The phone number is 316-847-8933.

Highland Pure Water and Ice has opened 24-hour automated Twice the Ice kiosks for purified and filtered water and ice outside of Family Video locations at 3305 W. Central and at 8778 W. 29th St. North.

New name

Flint Hills Therapeutic Riding Center, 7303 E. Harry, has changed its name to Freedom Hooves Therapeutic Riding Center. The center provides therapeutic horse riding for people with physical, mental or emotional disabilities.

Charity

Bank of America Charitable Foundation has made a $7,500 grant to KANSEL, Kansas School for Effective Learning. The organization also received a $10,000 grant from the Dollar General Literacy Foundation to support its English and Spanish GED preparation and its English for Speakers of Other Languages programs.
