Entrepreneur forum slated for June 11 at Wichita State
A forum to help connect African-American entrepreneurs with service providers is scheduled to take place June 11 at Wichita State University, according to a release.
Dubbed the Create Campaign Forum, the event is designed to assist African-American and other under-served entrepreneurs with resources and service providers to help them start and grow their businesses, the release said.
The event will run from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m. and will take place at the Rhatigan Student Center at Wichita State, 1845 Fairmount. The forum is free for entrepreneurs and service providers. The fee for vendors is $50, according to the release.
Coordinated by Christina Long of CML Collective, this year’s event will feature Dell Gines of the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City as its keynote speaker. Event partners include Fidelity Bank, the Center for Entrepreneurship at WSU, NetWork Kansas, Wichita Urban Professionals, Moore Strategy Group and the Wichita Metro Chamber of Commerce.
