Mark Murphy has joined Fidelity Bank as an assistant vice president and commercial banker, according to a news release.
A Wichita State University graduate, Murphy started in his new role in March. He came to Fidelity from Commerce Bank.
Murphy’s wife, Kami, owns the Apricot Lane Boutique at Bradley Fair. Murphy managed a car rental branch before entering the banking realm.
“I get business owners – the challenges, decisions and responsibilities – because I lived that life,” said Murphy in the release. “I managed a business and my wife owns a business. I bring that experience to the table for every client to help them grow, manage cash and achieve success.”
A family-owned institution based in Wichita, Fidelity Bank has 400 employees and more than $1.8 billion in assets across 23 offices in the Wichita, Oklahoma City and Kansas City metro areas.
