AT&T said it invested $110 million in its wireless and wireline networks in Wichita between 2013 and 2015.

The telecommunications company said in a news release in 2015 those capital improvements included 42 wireless network upgrades in the area, including a new cell site, network capacity, and new wireless high-speed Internet connections.

The company said it also continued to expand AT&T business fiber, which in the past four years has added more than 17,000 business locations in Kansas.

For all of Kansas, capital investment in the three-year period totaled nearly $850 million. That included about 240 wireless network upgrades in the state.
