Entrepreneur aims to boost employee morale
A developer of corporate leadership was the entrepreneur pitching a startup at Wednesday’s 1 Million Cups ICT event.
1 Million Cups ICT is a weekly gathering designed to aid entrepreneurs by helping them get advice and make contacts in the community. It meets from 9 to 10 a.m. on Wednesdays at 238 N. Mead in Old Town.

Verum Communications
Founder: Richard Rierson
Pitch: Rierson, who has worked as a pilot and leadership developer at several large Wichita corporations, aims to improve the morale of employees at companies by creating a series of recordings of corporate leaders talking about their vision and their stories.
Rierson also has a leadership advising and speaking business through his website, A Dose of Leadership, which features a collection of interviews with national leadership experts.
Status: He started Verum Communications in November and is working to add clients.
