JR Custom Metal Products plans to add a new 24,000-square-foot powder coat facility adjacent to its main building, according to a news release Tuesday.
The company, at 2237 S. West St. Court, plans to break ground this month and open by the end of the year. Hutton Construction will build the facility.
The powder coat facility will employ 13 to 20 people, the release said.
The family-owned company was started in 1974, according to its website. It does metal fabrication work for a number of industries, including agriculture, aviation and construction.
