Via Christi has reopened its west-side Immediate Care. Hours of the clinic at 13213 W. 21st St. will be 7:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. seven days a week. The clinic has on-site lab and imaging services, and is staffed by mid-level providers supervised by on-site primary care physicians.

New service

Express Stop at 3161 N. Rock Road has signed on as a U-Haul neighborhood dealer. It will offer U-Haul trucks, trailers, towing equipment, support rental items, boxes and in-store pickup for boxes. Hours are 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Friday and 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday. The phone number is 316-831-9657.

Recognized

Via Christi has been recognized by the Joint Commission and the American Heart Association/American Stroke Association as a Comprehensive Stroke Center.

FCSControl, a software supplier to the commercial roofing industry, has named Mahaney Roofing, 2822 N. Mead, its 2015 FCS National Contractor of the Year.

Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Kansas has named Newton Medical Center as a Blue Distinction Center for Knee and Hip Replacement.

Salina-based Metlcast Products has been awarded ISO 9001:2015 certification.

Charity

Get Your Rear in Gear Wichita and the Colon Cancer Coalition have made a $20,000 grant to Via Christi Philanthropy and Via Christi Oncology Services to provide financial support for uninsured and underinsured colorectal cancer patients.
