Local brewers share presentation at 1 Million Cups event (+video)

The brewers of craft beers were the local entrepreneurs featured at Wednesday’s 1 Million Cups ICT event.

1 Million Cups ICT is a weekly gathering designed to aid entrepreneurs by helping them get advice and make contacts in the community. It meets from 9 to 10 a.m. on Wednesdays at 238 N. Mead in Old Town.

Here was the latest presenter.

Hopping Gnome Brewing Co.

Founders: Torrey and Stacy Ward Lattin

Pitch: The Lattins brew their own beers and operate a tap room at 1710 E. Douglas and are slowly expanding their bulk sales to area bars. They host musical acts, events, food trucks and a gnome-based video game.

Status: They have been open nearly a year and are trying to reach profitability. The tap room is open Thursday through Sunday.

Need: They want more people to visit Hopping Gnome and to like them on Facebook.

Contact: www.hoppinggnome.com or find them on Facebook.

Next week

The next 1 Million Cups ICT will feature In the Bag Cleaners and Dose of Leadership.
