1 Million Cups Wichita pitches: auto video training and social media discount cards
Training videos for automobile dealers and a social media business coupon card were the two local business ideas presented at Wednesday’s 1 Million Cups event.
1 Million Cups ICT is a weekly gathering designed to help entrepreneurs by helping them get advice and make contacts in the community. It meets from 9 to 10 a.m. Wednesdays at 238 N. Mead in Old Town.
Here are the latest presenters:
CurveBreak
Founder: Aaron Wirtz
Pitch: Wirtz, known for his wacky commercials for SuperCarGuys, is offering online videos under the name Dealerography to train auto dealerships on how to improve their advertising videos. He is developing other products as well.

FusionSkyPass
Founder: Raymond Lewis
Pitch: Lewis has developed a technology where he will sell people a card that provides discounts from businesses. When the card is swiped at a store counter to award the discounts, it will automatically send a posting on the purchase to the card owner’s social media contacts. The cardholder gets the discount. The store gets advertising and a purchase. The social media contacts get to find out what their friend is buying.
Status: Technology is complete. He is starting to market it.
Need: Businesses to offer coupons through the card, and individuals to start buying the card.
