Citizens Bank of Kansas recently added two board members and a branch president in Winfield, according to a news release.

Jeff Breault of Wichita and Mike Maloney of Kingman were recently elected to the bank’s board of directors by its shareholders.

Breault, a Kansas State University graduate, is vice president of the Carey, Thomas, Hoover & Breault brokerage firm in Wichita. Maloney, a farmer, replaces his father, Pat Maloney, on the board, according to the release.

In addition, Chris Macias has been named the bank’s branch president for its Winfield location. Macias, a Wellington native who has been with Citizens Bank since 2014, started in his new role last month.

Macias took over the Winfield role from Dennis Knackstedt, who will remain as president of the bank.

“Chris has tremendous development and people skills,” said Knackstedt in the release. “In his short tenure with Citizens Bank of Kansas, Chris has demonstrated that he is the right person to take the reins in Winfield.”

Breault replaces George Burket on the 10-person board of directors. The changes were voted on during the bank’s annual meeting on Feb. 18.
