Awardees named for Chamber’s Honors Night
The Wichita Metro Chamber will hold its 2016 Honors Night event on April 7.
The event will start 6 p.m. at Beech Activity Center, 9710 E. Central.
The awardees this year will be:
▪ The Uncommon Citizen award, which recognizes someone who has made an uncommon contribution to the Wichita area, will go to Marilyn Pauly, vice chairwoman of Commerce Bank.
▪ The Spirit of Wichita award, which goes to businesses or not-for-profit organizations previously given the Over the Years award, will go to McConnell Air Force Base.
▪ The Over the Years award, which recognizes businesses and institutions with a long history as good corporate citizens, will go to High Touch Technologies; Starkey and Spirit AeroSystems.
▪ The Keeper of the Plains award, for outstanding architectural achievement, will go to the Kansas Leadership Center.
▪ The Ad Astra award, which honors outstanding achievement not covered by the existing awards, will go to Wichita Dwight D. Eisenhower National Airport.
The event is open to the public. Tickets are $90 per person or $720 for a table of eight and can be purchased online at wichitachamber.org/HonorsNight.
