The Wichita Metro Chamber of Commerce will recognize two companies as part of its annual Honors Night award program.
The chamber said in a news release Thursday that Meritrust Credit Union and the LDF Companies – a Wendy’s restaurant franchisee and beer, wine, spirits and non-alcoholic beverage distributor – will receive its Over the Years award at the 2015 Honors Night, set for April 21 at Beech Activity Center, 9710 E. Central.
The Over the Years award is given to a company or organization for its long-term corporate citizenship and economic contribution to the area.
Other award recipients will be:
▪ Wichita State University, which will receive the Spirit of Wichita award for its longevity and contributions to the area.
▪ Youth Entrepreneurs, which also will receive an Over the Years award.
▪ Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception, which will receive the Keeper of the Plains award for outstanding architectural achievement.
Tickets for the event, which start at $90, can be purchased through the chamber’s website, wichitachamber.org/HonorsNight, or by calling 316-265-7771.
The public is invited to attend.
